  1. Do you the 32csm have a comment about the Nationalist residents of Lurgan and Craigavon who were threatened with firearms, knives and violence by Dissident Republican last week.

This resulted in Nationalist having property and valuable forcefully taken of them. I can confirm that those residents were terrified, their families, including their children had to witness these horrific scenes which will scar them for life.

The people who were threatened and intimidated are from a Nationalist background but the Dissident Republican still feel its their right to ignore peoples right to live and work peacefully,

You won't here the Fermanagh 32csm commenting on this or about how the town of NTB has been neglected by the PSNI over the past year, preferring to highlight a minor conveyancing causing a few people to be late for mass while a hunt for would be killers goes on.

You won't hear the truth or a fair balance on here.

  3. With all due respect Tony the 32csm here in Fermanagh cant comment on what happened in Lurgan over the weekend but what we can say is that we condemn any anti social activity in communities whether that be the damage of property or vandalism of any kind here in Fermanagh.

Do you condemn the stopping of Nationalist residents going to mass last Sunday by the PSNI in Newtownbutler?

You say that the PSNI were on a hunt for would be killers?
By stopping innocent people going to mass my god man give your head a shake Tony this is harrassment and victimisation of a community by the PSNI.

  4. Patriot,

Can you say that its only Catholic residents of NTB who have been searched?

At the end of the day they were caused a minor inconvenience which I believe the PSNI apologised before hand, especially after a 600llb left near the homes of Nationalist resident not too far from Fermenagh.

Your column highlights two things to sensationalise this none event, 'Catholics, sectarianism'. It screams of bigotry.

    Wolfe Tone must be spinning!

  5. This doesnt give the PSNI the right to invade a sleepy little village in South Fermanagh and harrass and victimize the natives living in that village and stopping them from attending there Sunday prayer service.

There was a wide variety of people who were searched but special attention was given to Republicans and Nationalist residents/natives who live in the village itself.

  6. Furthermore what has this harrassment got to do with a 6oolb bomb that was descovered in South Armagh not Fermanagh?.

  7. Your reply is much more inclusive rather than singling out one proportion of the community, which is appreciated.

As regarding the PSNI harassing the local community; I believe that the Community are complaining that they are missing out on a Community Police Service they are paying for through taxes and rates. There have been numerous communications by NTB natives who feel that they are treated as second class citizen because when it comes to the support of the law they are left hanging. To highlight this was the recent incident where the supermarket was hit by raiders stealing an ATM. The PSNI failed to respond immediately, in fact taking them 12 hours to visit the scene.

Do you think this is unfair that Nationalist are not treated equally?

Also regarding the 600llb bomb in Armagh, well just looking at your audio clip you would appear to advocate the RIRA, whom I believe placed the bomb there.

We have the common goal in looking for a United Ireland but the actions of a few will bring British Soldiers back on the streets, just so certain groups can say, "We told you so".
